As we are all aware of the huge transformation of Governing football in the world as well as in Zanzibar in consideration to Federation from Association, we have been in the process of ensuring the base or structure is in place and in accordance with the laws, statutes and governing regulations.
Nevertheless, we must retain the unique values that define Zanzibar and out Football. Enriched by a talented Players and diverse team of capable staff committed to delivering excellence and creating equality of opportunity, through a spirit of partnership. Working together with determination, confidence and ambition, we can look forward to the many exciting opportunities that lie ahead of us over the next 4 years years.
We can be truly proud of our recent success. The impact of our good governance leadership and team-work is now paving its recognition around the world.
Our first commitment was, is and always will be, the football development. This commitment to delivering excellent football platform and developmental opportunities for our all stakeholder to informs all our decision-making. It involves ensuring our youth players get high involvement and knowledge by creating a better learning environment that enhances interaction and engagement, and enriches their talents and skills.
10 years strategic plan need stronger volunteers to ensure we attain our ambitious vision for the future – describing our programme of activities, and articulating the values and ideas that underlie those activities. This Plan has been written following extensive consultation with the wider range of football knowledgeable people and academia, with input and ideas from across the other football stakeholders and far beyond. The extensive engagement throughout the planning process shows a shared ambition for our Federation to succeed.
I would like to thank everyone who was involved in devising this Plan, and all those who took the time to share their vision for Zanzibar Football Federation in the process. This strategy builds on a platform of success, and a long tradition of facing the future with ambition. I am pleased to recommend this Plan to Zanzibari’s football family and Zanzibar community, and I look forward to working with you in achieving our vision.

The KVZ FC team that will represent Zanzibar in the 2020/2021 CAF Confederation Cup beat Mlandege FC 2-1 in the match played at the Mau A Stadium on Sunday.
Zanzibar Premier League champions Mlandege FC have been drawn to face a Tunisian side in the preliminary round of the 2020/2021 CAF Champions League.
The national U-20 team of Sudan has arrived in Zanzibar ahead of two international friendly matches they will play.
